Jared and John's football visit (AKA Jared vs the rain)

Sorry it has been so long since I was last able to update the blog. Fall sports are in full swing at The Ohio State University which means Chris is working until 6pm or later, then home to play with Lucas until bedtime and then on the computer working again until Chris' bedtime which means limited computer time for me at home to work on the blog. Well this past weekend my nephew JARED (who LOVES to make our blog by the way) and brother in law John made the drive to Columbus to visit us and attend the OSU vs Illinois football game. The day started with Lucas giving us a little dance to his favorite song.

We headed to the game early to attend the skull session and give time for JARED and John to soak in what is Ohio State Football. It was pretty overcast out and was sprinkling a bit. We had brought OSU poncho's for everyone. However some people, JARED and John, decided that they did not need them (John at least had a rainjacket instead). Boy were they sorry by the end of the 1st quarter-when it completely DOWN POURED! Here is Jared batteling the rain! We had a great weekend and enjoyed having John and Jared here to visit.

I was teasing all the boys about each of them being on their phone checking sporting scores so I had to get one shot-of course this one was staged but it was not an uncommon site!
