Happy Thanksgiving!!

This year was the Brechon's year for coming to Columbus for Thanksgiving. My mom, dad, sister Michelle and niece Tara came on Tuesday November November 24nd through Tuesday December 1st. On top of being able to celebrate the holiday together were were able to do lots of fun things. Here are some of the highlights.
Our trip to COSI (Columbus Ohio Science Institute). Lucas and Tara had a great time.
Lucas loves the water section of COSI

Chris and Tara doing an experiment

Lucas had previously wanted nothing to do with this submarine...however if cool older cousin Tara can do it....he did have to hold dad's hand though.

Lucas' first "Big Boy" movie-he did great and we are looking forward to Toy Story 3 this summer!!

We also took a trip to the Columbus Zoo. We were able to enjoy the animals for a couple of hours and then we also enjoyed Zoo lights and Santa's workshop!
I promise that we did spend time watching real animals however the pictures turned out way better with the fake ones!

Mom, Michelle and Tara enjoying the Zoo lights set to music

Enjoying a snack at the zoo

Lucas, Tara and Grandma enjoyed the Merry Go Round. FYI-Lucas face is not dirty (right cheek has a bit of a bruise) he did however have an incident that involved his mother, flying off her back while on the couch and making a face plant into the table....yikes!

At the end of the evening at the zoo we were able to visit Santa's workshop. We were able to see the Reindeer and Santa and Mrs Clause. Due to it being close to bed time and Santa's line very long we decided to wait to see Santa another time!
Tara and Lucas were able to decorate cookies with Mrs. Clause and then enjoy their treat!

Lucas is a very emotional kid. He recently started to stop what he is doing and say "Mommy" or Daddy" and then when we say "what" he will say "I love you" or " I love you much". Too cute!
We also decorated the house for Christmas.

Tara is one tough Cookie!

Chris 32nd Birthday was December 3rd and we had a little birthday party while the Brechon's were here. I forgot to buy candles so we had to use this one from Lucas' 1st birthday....Lucas and Tara thought it was pretty funny!

Santa comes to our house in Columbus in two weeks as we are in Moorhead for Christmas Eve. Lucas is so fun this year understanding more about Santa and presents. We are anxiously awaiting our "Christmas morning" as we know he will have so much fun. We went and had breakfast with Santa this weekend and Lucas had a great time. No pictures of that on the blog until after Christmas cards get sent out!! We hope all of you are enjoying this holiday season.

WOW what cute pictures. I am always amazed how Tara looks like her mom. She is pretty darn cute. Sounds like you had a great time with them there for that long. I am sure Lucas had fun with his cousin. I am glad they can get together.
Thanks again. love them as always. Anxiously awaiting the Christmas card. love you
